ATMOSPHERE

The restaurant is the real gem of the Valuas family business, and that’s easy to see. The interior is stylish and contemporary, warm but accessible, and very private. There’s no better place to savour the tasty dishes prepared by Chef Eric Swaghoven and the hospitality offered by his staff. They all like to give their guests only the very best, and you’ll definitely see they love their job. Their smiles and jokes say it all. Not to mention the beautiful way the food is presented. Eric describes his cuisine as modern French with an international touch – a combination which earned him a Michelin star in 2005.

SOURCE OF PLEASURE

The eye-catcher at the restaurant is the ‘Source of Pleasure’, a long, central table with an integrated water feature. The delicious dishes from Eric’s kitchen are always served to guests from this table. In the summer, guests to Valuas can sit on the beautiful terrace, from where they can enjoy breath taking views of the River Meuse, the Meuse Corridor nature reserve, and the City of Venlo in the distance.
